Masterson’s Lounge, situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my most recent experience at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I found behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The floorboards were filthy, and a nauseating aroma of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms polluted the entire bar . Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , decay and a sickly smell.
